On April 21, Terranet will participate in Defense Day 2026. The event is organized by Amyna, Ideon Science Park’s platform for defense innovation in Lund. It brings together actors from defense, industry, and research across the Nordics, with a focus on increasing the pace of development, strengthening collaboration, and reducing the gap between needs and solutions.
Public debate often highlights the need to accelerate development within the defense sector. The need for faster processes, better coordination, and fewer barriers between authorities, industry, and research is frequently raised.
In this context, actors from across the ecosystem will gather to discuss how development can be accelerated. The focus is on concrete challenges, such as the path from pilot projects to signed deals, how collaboration can become more effective, and how testing, procurement, and implementation can move faster.
Defense Day 2026 is not a traditional conference, but a working arena for dialogue. The program consists of sessions and roundtable discussions focusing on concrete challenges.
Terranet will participate as an exhibitor and sees strong value in being part of this context.
“We look forward to participating in Defense Day 2026 and continuing to meet the demand from the defense industry. It gives us the opportunity to initiate further dialogues with potential partners and customers within the defense sector, as well as to explore new application areas for our technology,” says Jonas Renander, CCO at Terranet.
Terranet’s sensor technology, focused on fast detection, is relevant in environments where early detection and fast response are critical, and where any delay can have consequences.
