Terranet has signed an evaluation agreement with an international company in advanced electronics to explore new applications for its event-based sensor technology.
The purpose of the collaboration is to evaluate how Terranet’s sensor data can be used within the external party’s platform. The focus is on methods based on Spiking Neural Networks (SNN), an AI-based method adapted for event-driven data.
The collaboration may contribute to identifying new use cases and future markets for the technology.
The agreement does not involve any financial commitments between the parties.
“This demonstrates strong interest in our sensor technology. By combining it with external platforms and SNN-based signal processing, we can evaluate new use cases and further develop the potential of the technology,” says Jonas Renander, CCO at Terranet.
