Terranet has signed a LOI with Nubia in China

Terranet and Nubia Technology Co., Ltd has entered into a Letter of Intent and agreed on working collaboratively to identify compelling WiFi Aware applications and attractive consumer use cases for consideration for deployment in Nubia mobile phones in Q1 2019. Nubia has Its headquarters in Shenzhen in China and is one of the 10 largest producers of mobile phones with a yearly volume of 10 million phones. The Nubia Smartphone Z17s was awarded at the Mobil World Congress in Barcelona this year where it raised a great deal of appreciation.

As a part of the LOI, Terranet will provide WiFi Aware applications running on Google Pixel 2 with Android P for evaluation by Nubia. The evaluation period is 60 days long. Once Nubia decides to deploy WiFi Aware, a separate commercial development agreement shall be negotiated and executed between the parties.

This LOI has been entered as a follow-up of the cooperation with Qualcomm, an important milestone towards selling Terranets software on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset to the leading producers of mobile phones in China.
