Terranet has signed an evaluation agreement with an international industrial group with leading positions in several technology areas. The agreement marks a strategically important broadening of BlincVision’s areas of application, where the technology will now be tested in an industrial environment outside the automotive sector.
“Having an international industrial group choose to evaluate our MVP is an important step in our efforts to broaden the use of BlincVision. It demonstrates the technology’s potential beyond the automotive industry,” says Lars Lindell, CEO of Terranet.
BlincVision is Terranet’s own sensor technology, based on event cameras, a laser scanner, software and an AI model. This combination enables minimal latency and thereby faster object detection. The system has been developed into an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) focusing on its core functions. The fact that the physical design of the MVP can be used unchanged in a new vertical demonstrates the technology’s breadth and flexibility for use in different verticals. The evaluation is part of Terranet’s efforts to commercialize BlincVision and create customer value across multiple verticals. The agreement does not entail any financial commitments between the parties.
