As Test and Validation Engineer at Terranet, you will ensure that our integrated HW/SW meet the highest standards for the automotive market. You will work closely with a cross-functional team, including development, product management, System engineering and automotive customers to create comprehensive test strategies, execute test plans, and validate product performance in real-world conditions.

Key responsibilities:

• Define the validation criteria of system and component requirements
• Validate and test the implemented requirements from the concept phase to the final product
• Build and maintain the test automation framework
• Improve and build the hardware lab test setup
• Define the test plan and test strategy to meet the planned milestones
• Define the test cases
• Evaluation of HW and SW components’ performance
• Perform in-vehicle setup and test
• Perform simulation test to replicate the real-world environment

Your Background and Experience

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Test and Validation Engineer with experience in both hardware and software testing to join our dynamic team.

Your Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• In total at least 5 years of experience in test and validation
• Strong understanding of embedded systems, sensors, and communication protocols (e.g. CAN, Ethernet).
• Experience in various testing methods, such as unit testing, functional testing, regression testing
• Good knowledge of requirement verification and testing
• Familiarity with hardware testing equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal analyzers).
• Languages: Python, C++ or Rust
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI to automate the testing process
• Experience in hardware requirement verification
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English
